ATP Challenger Quimper 2: Maximilian Marterer beats Sebastian Ofner again

While it went into extra time a few days ago, the German left-hander only got the upper hand in the tiebreak of the third set, this time Marterer's success was more pronounced with 6: 2 and 7: 6 (3). In round two, either tournament favorite Alejandro Davidovich Fokina or the Italian Thomas Fabbiano is waiting. Sebastian Korda, who won Quimper 1 6-1 and 6-1 in the final against Filip Horansky on Sunday, withdrew from the second tournament due to a slight adductor injury.
Horansky meets Peter Gojowczyk in round one. The German line-up has increased even further: Yannik Maden, who opens against Lucas Pouille, was joined by lucky loser Daniel Masur (plays against Gregoire Barrere) and qualifier Tobias Kamke, who meets Denis Istomin.
