ATP challenger Quimper: After Rodionov, Ofner also retired
Sebastian Ofner was eliminated in the first round of the ATP Challenger tournament in Quimper (France). The Steier was defeated by the German Maximilian Marterer in the tie-break of the third set.

Marterer and Ofner faced each other for 2:22 hours, then the left-hander from Franconia was ahead with 5: 7, 6: 4 and 7: 6 (6). Marterer won the second match against Ofner, the first was in Eckental in 2017. The German could play against tournament favorite Lucas Pouille in round two.
Jurij Rodionov was eliminated on Tuesday. The young Austrian lost to local hero Enzo Couacaud 3: 6, 6: 1 and 4: 6.
