Strong performance by Mats Moraing in the final of the ATP Challenger tournament in Rennes, which was not rewarded in the end. After his success in Tulln last week, Moraing was aiming for his next title on the second level of professional tennis. But lost the final against local hero Benjamin Bonzi 6: 7 (3) and 6: 7 (3).
Of course, Moraing made a leap forward in the ATP world rankings. He improved by 18 positions and is listed as number 175 on Monday. Winner Bonzi even moved up to 61st place in the charts.
