ATP Challenger Salzburg: Erler and Miedler lose a dramatic double final
Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler just missed out on winning the doubles competition at the ATP Challenger in Salzburg. The two lost to Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow 5-7, 7-5 and 9-11.

A strong performance by Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler in the final of the doubles competition in Salzburg, which went unrewarded in the end. Because after the two Austrians had equalized after the 5:7 in the first set with the same result in their favour, Erler and Miedler had to catch up in the match tie-break against Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow from the start, finally losing with 9: 11.
In singles, there will be a final between Thiago Monteiro and Norbert Gombos on Sunday. Monteiro defeated Thiem conqueror Facundo Bagnis 3: 6, 7: 5 and 6: 3 in the semi-finals. Gombos won against Frenchman Corentin Moutet with exactly the same result.
