The third Frenchman in a row was one too many for Lukas Neumayer. After his sensational successes against Gilles Simon and Arthur Rinderknech, who was in first place, the 19-year-old Austrian had to admit defeat to Corentin Moutet 2: 6 and 2: 6 in the quarter-finals of the ATP Challenger tournament in Salzburg.

Lukas Neumayer can still be very satisfied with his result in Salzburg-Anif: In addition to prize money of 3,710 euros, he was also able to get 25 points for the ATP world rankings.

Dominic Thiem had previously retired.
