A very strong performance by Lukas Neumayer! The Austrian youngster defeated the Brazilian routiner Thiago Monteiro 6: 4 and 6: 4 and thus reached the semifinals of the ATP Challenger tournament in Salzburg. There Neumayer meets Blaz Rola, who had beaten Filip Misolic 6: 3 and 6: 3 on Friday.
With Sebastian Ofner there is a second local hero among the last four individual players in Salzburg. After a hard fight against Nerman Fatic, Ofner won 4: 6, 7: 6 (4) and 7: 5 and is now playing in the semifinals against Argentinian Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
