ATP Challenger Tampere: Gerald Melzer loses 3 hour 53 minute fight
Gerald Melzer missed the semifinals at the ATP Challenger in Tampere (Finland).

Melzer lost to Frenchman Lorent Lokoli after a playing time of 3 hours and 53 minutes 6:7 (5), 6:4 and 5:7.
So far, the clay court tournament has been a complete success for the 32-year-old: In round 1 Melzer had won the second seeded Mats Moraing from the tournament, in round 2 he had won against compatriot Sebastian Ofner.
The ATP ranking is also going up, updated daily he is now in 186th place.
