The Austrian Filip Misolic achieved his biggest career victory to date at the ATP Challenger event in Tulln, Lower Austria: The current number 539 in the ATP rankings defeated number one in the highly endowed clay court event Marco Checchinato after 1:50 hours of playing time 7 on Tuesday afternoon : 6 (1), 2: 6, 6: 2. The Italian was already in 16th place in the men's world rankings in 2019 and has so far won three titles on the ATP World Tour in his career. In 2018, the 28-year-old from Palermo was also in the semi-finals of the French Open. The success of the 20-year-old Styrian cannot be rated highly enough.

Sebastian Ofner is also in the round of 16. The 25-year-old from Bruck an der Mur had a hard fight in the 6: 3, -5: 7, -7: 6 (5) success over the qualifier Benjamin Hassan, and even had one with the score of 5: 6 in the third round Fend off the German's match point.
