If it hadn't been for second-seeded Jiri Lehecka in the second round at Mauthausen's home event, who knows what Filip Misolic would have achieved at the Challenger event in Austria. Because immediately after the performances at home, the youngster started a strong run of success, won his first title on the Challenger Tour in Zagreb and reached the semi-finals in Tunis this week.

But this was the end of the line for the 20-year-old, who is currently just outside the top 200 at 225th place in the world rankings. In the semi-finals in Tunis, Misolic was beaten by Dutchman Gijs Brouwer 2:6 and 2:6 without a chance. On his way to the semi-finals, however, the Austrian had, among other things, eliminated the top seeded Jordan Thompson. In the live ranking, the 20-year-old is already in 209th place.
