Filip Misolic is in his first semi-final in this category at the ATP Challenger tournament in Zagreb

Premiere for Filip Misolic on the ATP Challenger Tour: For the first time in his career, the Austrian has reached a semi-final at an event in this tournament category. In the quarter-finals of the almost 46,000 euro clay court event in Zagreb, the 20-year-old from Graz defeated local hero Duje Ajdukovic, who had made it into the main draw as an alternate, 7-5, 6-2. In the semi-finals, the Styrian will face the Australian Jason Kubler, who is seeded on sixth in the Croatian capital.

It is also pleasing that Lukas Neumayer is in the quarter-finals at the ITF M25 tournament in Prague: The 19-year-old from Salzburg celebrated a sovereign 6-1, 6-2 win over the Czech Filip Duda in the round of 16. At the start, Neumayer had taken the number five of the clay court event Marek Gengel (also Czech Republic) out of the competition with 6: 2, 6: 7 (3), 6: 4. In the fight for a ticket to the semi-finals, the Austrian will now face either Antonin Bolardt (Czech Republic) or the third-seeded American Alex Rybakov.
