Every nation in the ATP Cup is as good as their best player. So it's good that the top ten are a fairly global event right now. Only Spain (Rafael Nadal and Roberto Bautista-Agut) and Russia (Daniil Medvedev and Karen Khachanov) are represented twice on the Bel Etage - and, as of now, will also start with these players in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney.
A total of 24 teams will fight for the title from January 3, 2020, 18 have already qualified. And in contrast to this year's Davis Cup final, in which the participation of many top players was long questionable (Novak Djokovic) or still ruled out (Alexander Zverev), the Australian fans can look forward to the greats of the guild.

Great Britain thanks to Murray
At most, it is striking that the name Stan Wawrinka is missing in Switzerland's current contingent. Roger Federer will lead the team and may therefore also choose the captain. The assumption is obvious that this will be Severin Lüthi, who is already on the tour as the coach of the 38-year-old. Henri Laaksonen is said to be the second Swiss player.
Germany sends its two best players into the race with Alexander Zverev and Jan-Lennard Struff. Zverev chose Boris Becker as captain, who is also believed to have been at the instigation of Tennis Australia. The Austrian aspirants are currently gathered in Espoo, Finland. Dominic Thiem will lead the red-white-red team and give Dennis Novak the second single player.
Great Britain and organizers Australia will also be there. The British benefit from the protected ranking of Andy Murray, Australia would have ended up among the best 24 teams even without a wildcard. The remaining six nations will be announced later this fall.
