Kyrgios gave a break to 3: 2 in the first set. Especially with his own serve, the Australian was almost untouchable and never gave Struff a chance at the first round.
This picture should change slightly in the second section. Struff always found some half chances, but left them in the regular match as well as in the tie break. After a little more than 70 minutes, Kyrgios was able to fix his 6: 4 and 7: 6 (4) success with his 20th ace.
So there is a lot of pressure on Alexander Zverev before the second duel. The world ranked seventh must win his game against Alex de Minaur to keep Germany in the game. This is followed by the double between Andreas Mies / Kevin Krawietz and John Peers / Chris Guccione.
