What does the mode look like?

A total of 24 teams are at the start, which are divided into six groups. Each team has three matches (two singles, one double), the group winners and the two best group runners-up reach the quarter-finals. The singles are played best-of-three, in doubles the no-ad rule applies, instead of a third set a champions tie break is played.

Where is the ATP Cup played?

The ATP Cup group stage will be held at three Australian locations: Brisbane, Sydney and Perth. As of the quarter-finals, the game will only be played in Sydney.

Which players are there?

Of the top ten players in the world rankings, only Roger Federer, who voluntarily decided not to participate, and Matteo Berrettini, who had to cancel due to injury, are missing. Rafael Nadal , on the other hand, will lead the Spanish team, Novak Djokovic the Serbian, Daniil Medvedev that of the Russians. Dominic Thiem is the top Austrian player, Alexander Zverev the German number one.

The ATP Cup on TV and livestream

Prize money and ATP points

The total prize money is 15 million US dollars. A player can theoretically win up to 750 points for the ATP world rankings. However, since the points in the group phase are graded according to the placement in the ranking, this number could only be achieved if a player beat three top ten players in the preliminary round. In practice, after the draw, one thing is certain: this is not possible.
