ATP Doha: As in 2021 - Basilashvili and Bautista Agut in the final
Four ATP tournaments at the same time - it's one after the other. At the 250cc tournament in Doha, Nikoloz Basilashvili and Roberto Bautista Agut prevailed in their semifinals. Last year's finale will therefore experience a new edition.

Arthur Rinderknech's run has been stopped for now. After Jiri Vesely and Alexander Bublik, the Frenchman also threw out Denis Shapovalov, who had been seeded first, in two sets in the quarterfinals. But last year's winner Nikoloz Basilashvili had something against it going on for Rinderknech. At 6: 4, 6: 2 he clearly had the upper hand. The break chances were particularly good: three out of four.
17 aces and 12 breakballs are not enough for Khachanov
In the other semi-final, the spectators got their money's worth. Roberto Bautista Agut and Karen Khachanov fought a great three-set fight. The match ball alone makes it clear what an intense game there was on the pitch. In the end, this rally, like the entire match, went to Bautista Agut, who advanced to the final with 2:6, 6:3 and 7:5. The Spaniard will not like to think back to the 2021 final. At that time he was defeated by Basilashvili 6:7 and 2:6. In a direct comparison, however, he leads 3:2.
