ATP Doha: Philipp Oswald just missed victory in doubles
Philipp Oswald and his partner Marcus Daniell failed in the final of the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Doha. The two lost to Aslan Karatsev and Andrey Rublev 5: 7 and 4: 6.

On the way to the final, Oswald and Daniell had cleared quite prominent opponents out of the way: already in round one the reigning Australian Open champions Ivan Dodig and Filip Polasek, in the semifinals the two Colombians, Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah, who were in first place .
Karatsev and Rublev, who won the final against Daniell / Oswald 7: 5 and 6: 4 through late breaks in the sets, did not have to give up a single round during the tournament.
