Ruud won the final against Hugo Gaston 6: 3, 6: 2 and thus secured his second title in a row - last week he had triumphed in Bastad, Sweden. And next week he has the chance of a hat trick: Ruud will compete in the Generali Open in Kitzbühel.
The victory in Gstaad is the fourth overall for the 22-year-old after victories in Buenos Aires (2020), Geneva and Bastad (2021). In the world rankings, the Norwegian is currently 14th higher than ever.
In Kitzbühel Ruud is the top seed , after a walk-through in round 1 he will face the winner of the duel between two qualifiers.
