ATP Halle: NOVENTI remains name partner until 2022

Germany's largest ATP tournament and Germany's largest healthcare provider NOVENTI remain a double success: The Munich group of companies will continue to serve as a name partner in the next three tournaments from 2020 to 2022 in the OWL ARENA. With Roger Federer's tenth title win last year, NOVENTI, market leader in all segments of the health care market in Germany, was the namesake of the traditional tournament for the first time.

"After the very successful premiere last year, it is the logical step for us to continue our involvement in Germany's largest tennis tournament as a name partner," says Dr. Hermann Sommer, CEO of NOVENTI Health SE. “We continue to work to strengthen the health care system in Germany and in particular for the owner-managed pharmacy on site. This year - the year of the introduction of the e-prescription - we also want to set an example for health care in our country. That is why we are showing this on site with our NOVENTI eRezept Lounge. ”

"I am very pleased that NOVENTI will remain by our side as a strong and renowned partner for another three years," says Ralf Weber. "The first joint serve last June was a real win for everyone." Tournament boss Weber sees NOVENTI's decision as "confirmation of the enormous attractiveness" of the ATP 500 competition and the HalleWestfalen tennis location as a preparatory tournament for Wimbledon. "There is massive interest in our tournament and in the brand that we have developed here over the past almost three decades," said Weber. "As Germany's largest tournament, we only want to work with Germany's largest healthcare company and are very happy to continue our success story with NOVENTI for a very long time."

Zverev and Khachanov at the start

Dr. Sven Jansen, CEO of NOVENTI Health SE, explains: “As a strategic partner of NOVENTI OPEN, our goal is to transfer our values and visions on the subject of health and sustainability in Germany and the world to the most important tennis tournament in Germany. We started this last year by making the NOVENTI OPEN the world's first climate-neutral ATP 500 tennis tournament. We will continue to expand this, so we look forward to the future together. ”

Last year's NOVENTI OPEN could be seen live on TV in over 170 countries around the world. And for the 28th edition of the tournament from June 13 to 21, 2020, a world class field of participants has once again announced itself, above all superstar and defending champion Roger Federer (ATP world ranking 3). A top-class quartet of challengers wants to prevent the Swiss “Maestro” from marching through again: Alexander Zverev , Germany's number one (ATP 7), has Russian star Karen Khachanov (ATP 16), Japan's ace Kei Nishikori (ATP 17) and the Croatian Tournament winner of the year 2018, Borna Coric (ATP 28), has already given the go-ahead. "We will once again experience absolute world-class tennis in Halle," says tournament director Ralf Weber. "Fans worldwide can look forward to great tennis days in the OWL ARENA."
