A serve from below from Andy Murray ? But yes! If the situation allows it, gladly.

Andy Murray has all the tricks on it

Rafael Nadal has the reputation in the USA (like Dominic Thiem and Daniil Medvedev) that he is in a different zip code area than his opponent when he returns. Nadal uses the depth of each court as much as possible, standing almost shoulder to shoulder with the line judges (back when there were still some). A remedy against this would be the serve from below - which would be tantamount to a majesty against Rafael Nadal.

Well, the royal status of the Spaniard is rather sausage to Nick Kyrgios. Which is why the Australian is the only player who dares to serve from below every now and then. Carlos Alcaraz is also an old Nadal school when it comes to setbacks. But it does not yet have the reputation of the great Spanish master. Which maybe made Andy Murray's decision to try it from below easier.

Murray also against Zverev from below?

For the fact that Murray hardly ever uses this stroke, the execution was almost perfect. Especially since Alcaraz hadn't expected the attempt. Against an Alexander Bublik, who is preceded by the reputation of the under-arm server, the teenager might have been more attentive.

Did Alexander Zverev take a close look? The German is Murray's upcoming opponent. And seeks his salvation on the return rather far back. It is quite possible that Andy Murray is trying to use this in a gentle way.
