ATP Madrid: Alexander Zverev only short-time work today
After just 40 minutes of short-time work, Alexander Zverev reached the quarterfinals at the Tennis Masters in Madrid.

In his match against Lorenzo Musetti, the Olympic champion benefited from the Italian's thigh problems, who gave up for Zverev when the score was 6: 3, 1: 0. The next opponent of the top German player is Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, seeded number eight, or Italian Jannik Sinner (number 10).

Due to illness, Murray did not play in the prestigious round of 16 against Djokovic, who meets number 12 seeded Pole Hubert Hurkacz in the round of eight.
Murray hit Madrid with a wildcard from the organizers. In the first two rounds, the Olympic champion of London 2012 and Rio 2016 first knocked out the Austrian Dominic Thiem and then the Canadian Dennis Shapovalov from the tournament.
