ATP Masters Madrid: Nothing new in Spain - Novak Djokovic doesn't give Gael Monfils a chance
The world number one, Novak Djokovic, made it to the round of 16 at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Madrid against Gael Monfils without any problems.

Novak Djokovic attested to an "empty tank" even after the final defeat against Andrey Rublev at his home tournament in Belgrade. A separation from Physio Miljan Amanovic later, on today's second round day at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Madrid - despite the currently high fuel prices in the entire EU - there was no sign of it. In a one-sided match against Gael Monfils, the Serb easily prevailed 6: 3, 6: 2 and is thus in the round of 16.
