Jan-Lennard Struff did not start the North American swing as desired. The Warsteiner lost to Fabio Fognini at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Toronto in the first round and had to admit defeat to the Italian in three sets. There is now a chance of rehabilitation for Germans in Cincinnati.
