Filip Misolic missed the leap into the main draw at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells. The Austrian lost in straight sets to Cristian Garin in the last qualifying round.

Disappointment for Filip Misolic: The Styrian lost 4: 6 and 2: 6 to Cristian Garin in the last qualifying round of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells. In round one, the 21-year-old held his own in three sets against Joao Sousa .

In 2023, Garin is still undefeated against Austrians. Last week, the Chilean won 6-2 and 7-6 (2) in the first round in Santiago against Dominic Thiem . In Indian Wells, the 2020 US Open winner is the only red-white-red representative in the main draw. There he meets Adrian Mannarino in round one.
