ATP Masters Miami: Jan-Lennard Struff eliminated, Isner beats Auger-Aliassime
Jan-Lennard Struff failed at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Miami by Roberto Bautista Agut. Meanwhile, John Isner has surprisingly won against Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Jan-Lennard Struff failed in the third round of the ATP Masters 1000 event in Miami. The Warsteiner defeated the Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut in three sets on Sunday evening European time. Struff had started the duel with the twelfth in the world rankings so well. The 30-year-old made the decisive break in the first round and took the lead 6: 4 with 1: 0 sets.
In the second round it was the Spaniard who was to become dangerous for the first time when his opponent served and was thus able to secure the break advantage. The 32-year-old took advantage of this and managed to equalize the set with 6: 3. In the third decision round it was then a match demonstration by Roberto Bautista Agut, who recently defeated Dominic Thiem. The Spaniard made it into the round of 16 with 6: 2.

Meanwhile, it came as a bit of a surprise that Felix Auger-Aliassime had to say goodbye to the tournament. The Canadian faced the 2018 Miami winner, American John Isner, in the round of 32. Unsurprisingly, it was two tiebreaks against the service giant that had to bring about the decision. In both, Isner proved his staying power and won his round of 16 ticket with 7: 6 (5) and 7: 6 (5). The American is Roberto Bautista Agut's next opponent.
Later on Sunday, Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner, among others, will play their third round matches. The Russian meets the Australian Alexei Popyrin, Sinner is up against Karen Khachanov ( you can follow the match in the match tracker here! )
