Jan-Lenard Struff is visibly at ease at the start of the European clay court season. The Warsteiner duped the Australian Alex de Minaur, who was ranked 14th, in the second round of the ATP Masters event. However, Casper Ruud, a fan of the red ash, is waiting in the round of 16 to exchange blows with the current world number 100.

As Struff recalls the head-to-head with the Norwegian, self-confidence should increase again, because the 32-year-old leads 2-0 in direct comparisons against the fourth in the world rankings.
