This wisdom was also brought to mind by Stefanos Tsitsipas at the ATP Masters 1000 event in Monte Carlo in his quarter-finals against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. After the Spaniard had been treated on the left thigh when the score was 3: 3, the Greek had to accept a break in the next service game.
But the fifth in the world ranked succeeded in the immediate rebreak and subsequently also the set win. After 5: 7 from his point of view, Davidovich Fokina had to give up, his leg was causing too much pain.
