The ball flew 35 times in the twelfth point of Tiebreaks in the first set between Novak Djokovic and Grigor Dimitrov over the net. Then the ball landed in Aus. And Djokovic puts his hand behind his ear: Well, where is the due applause? Well, the Parisians did not ask for that. The world ranking first took the fourth set in a row, the first set with 7: 6 (5).

After that, both players took a break, Dimitrov initially did not let up. The favorite but not as usual. In the fifth game it was time: The first break chance could ward off Dimitrov with a strong serve. At the second Djokovic took the rally. And the only break of the match. That was enough for Djokovic to finally win the second act 6: 4.

This will allow Novak Djokovic himself to make sure that the race for the number one at the end of the season remains exciting on Sunday: Should Rafael Nadal, who had to face Denis Shapovalov in the second match of the semi-final, win in Paris-Bercy, then Spaniards from the top position in late 2019 will not be displaced.
