Zverev got off to a better start in the Foro Italico and took Tsitsipas' service game to make it 4: 3. The native of Hamburg didn't let this lead be taken away, the first set went 6: 4 to the third in the world rankings.

Tsitsipas turns game

In the second section, Tsitsipas made an early break, which he was able to confirm after a hard fight. After that, Zverev was no longer effective in the Greek's service games and thus had to accept the set equalization in front of the frenetic Italian audience.

Nevertheless, Zverev looked fresher in the third set, the first break should still go to Tsitsipas. The fifth in the world rankings struck in the fifth game and then did not let this lead be taken away. After two hours and 28 minutes of play, Tsitsipas converted his first match point to a 4: 6, 6: 3 and 6: 3 success thanks to another break. In the final he meets Novak Djokovic or Casper Ruud.
