ATP Miami: Sinner first semi-finalist after beating Bublik
Jannik Sinner has reached the semifinals of an ATP Masters 1000 tournament for the first time. The Italian is after a 7: 6 (5) and 6: 4 against Alexander Bublik in the semi-finals of Miami, where he meets either Daniil Medvedev or Roberto Bautista Agut.

The next milestone for Jannik Sinner: the 19-year-old reached the semi-finals in Miami with a comeback victory against Kazakhs Alexander Bublik. Bublik led with a break in both sets and even with two mini-breaks in the short decision of the first round. In the end, however, Sinner won 7: 6 (5) and 6: 4. In the semifinals there is now a meeting with either tournament favorite Daniil Medvedev or the Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut.
With his success, Jannik Sinner has definitely reached a new career high: He will make up at least seven places, is in 24th place in the live ranking. Bublik has also jumped to a new high, if only by one place. It will improve from 43 to 42.
