Strong performance from Sam Weissborn and Albano Olivetti at the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Montpellier: The Austrian and his French partner won their semi-final against veteran Robin Haase and the Czech Petr Nouza with 7:6 (4) and 7:6 (2 ) and thus already made it to the final. On Sunday it will be against either Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul or Lloyd Glasspool and Henry Patten.
Weissborn/Olivetti had won against the French wildcard pairing Hugo Gaston and Harold Mayot at the start, then won against Pedro Martinez and Alexandre Müller in the champions tiebreak in the quarterfinals.
