Birthday boy Alexander Zverev failed in his opening match at the ATP tournament in Munich, as in the previous year. The Hamburg player, who has been 26 since Thursday, lost 6:7 (2:7), 4:6 to the Australian Christopher O'Connell in the round of 16 at temperatures around eight degrees.
