The two finalists know each other well, as Struff revealed in his press conference after entering the final of an ATP tournament for the first time. After all, Basilashvili trained with Jan de Witt in Halle for a long time, and Jan-Lennard Struff often stopped by. The Georgian had even fewer problems with Casper Ruud at 6: 1 and 6: 2 than Struff at 6: 4 and 6: 1 against Zverev conqueror Ilya Ivashka.

Nikoloz Basilashvili has fond memories of the finals in Germany: he has already won the ATP Tour 500 tournament in Hamburg twice. In addition, Basilashvili has already triumphed in Doha this season, ending Roger Federer's brief comeback on the way to winning the tournament.

The final is scheduled for Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Bavarian television broadcasts live and in stream.
