The 23-year-old defeated James Duckworth 7: 6 (6), 6: 3 in the final.

Kwon is currently ranked 82nd in the ATP ranking, thanks to his victory he will crack the top 60 for the first time on Monday.

This makes Kwon the ninth player on the ATP side to celebrate his debut title this year.

But a successful week also comes to an end for the Australian Duckworth: For the 29-year-old it was the first final at an ATP tournament. He's been thrown back from injuries over the course of his career, but this year it's going well: Duckworth reached the third round at Wimbledon and most recently won the Challenger tournament in Istanbul. He will also join the top 60 for the first time.
