ATP Rome: Fabio Fognini hasn't finished yet - and beats Murray
Fabio Fognini (ATP No. 130) is in the second round of the home game in Rome - after a tough fight against Andy Murray late in the evening.

"It's not over...yet," wrote Fabio Fognini on camera after his success, holding his son Federico in his arms. He followed the 6: 4, 4: 6, 6: 4 victory over Andy Murray alongside his wife and ex-US Open winner Flavia Pennetta.
Fognini, formerly number 7 and currently only 130 in the ATP ranking, delighted his fans with the well-known mixture of Italian composure and high skill - he was still ailing and had to let the physio come in round two.
Murray, who was still the tournament winner at the Challenger in Aix-en-Provence at the weekend, was also handicapped from the second set onwards, his lower back twitched, but Murray bit. But so did Fognini, he managed an early break in the third set, which he transported. Murray had to tremble again in round two after a 5: 1 set equalization.
Overall, Fognini was the more active player - with 47 winners and 22 mistakes without need; Murray had 27 winning strokes with 18 unforced errors. Fognini secured victory after 2 hours and 54 minutes with his seventh ace.

"Of course I'm happy. Coming back from an injury is never easy. And then to win against a great player like Andy... Now I have to regenerate well," said the Italian, who at the age of 35 is on the home straight career is located.
