Jannik Sinner wins the next trophy in Rotterdam.

Last year, Jannik Sinner had to beat Daniil Medvedev in the final in Rotterdam. However, 2024 seems to be the year of the 22-year-old Italian. Because Sinner beat Alex de Minaur 7:5, 6:4 in the final and celebrated his twelfth tournament victory. And remains undefeated this season.

With a break, Jannik Sinner served to win the set at 5:4. However, De Minaur was able to equalize, but then received another rebreak. The Australian's resistance was broken and the first round belonged to the South Tyrolean. Jannik Sinner also had a break in the second round, but allowed his opponent to come back into the game. However, the Australian Open champion was able to pick up the pace again and secured victory in the final.

Jannik Sinner without danger in Rotterdam

Ultimately, Jannik Sinner was never in danger of his winning streak breaking throughout the entire tournament. Even if he had to give up a set against Gael Monfils. The Australian Open champion's next appearance will probably only be at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells.

Final loser Alex de Minaur, on the other hand, has to play again next week. De Minaur is traveling to Los Cabos as last year's finalist - although last year this event took place in the Somme.
