ATP Rotterdam: Marton Fucsovics follows Andrey Rublev into the final

Marton Fucsovics is in his second final on the ATP tour. The Hungarian defeated Borna Coric in straight sets on Saturday evening and will now face Andrey Rublev.

Even before the semi-final duel between Borna Coric and Marton Fucsovics at the ATP 500 event in Rotterdam, one thing was clear: The task in the final will be anything but easy. Because in the first semifinals of the day Andrey Rublev bought his ticket for the final - his fourth in a row at ATP 500 level.

In this, the Russian now meets Marton Fucsovics, who won his duel with Borna Coric in two sets. The Hungarian made the early break in round one, wobbled briefly at the end of the first set - but finally closed the set 6: 4. In the second half, Fucsovics succeeded again in taking his service away from his opponent early on.

Second ATP final for Fucsovics

That was the world ranking 59. no longer take. Fucsovics managed another break - and finally made the 6: 4 and 6: 1 success perfect. It is only the second ATP final for Fucsovics, who also celebrated his first title in Sofia in 2019.
