ATP Rotterdam: Stan Wawrinka beats Alexander Bublik, Grigor Dimitrov wins in a hurry
Stan Wawrinka caused a little surprise in the first round of the ATP 500 event in Rotterdam and took Alexander Bublik out of the tournament. In addition , Grigor Dimitrov and Richard Gasquet are in the round of 16.

Remarkable success for Stan Wawrinka : The three-time Grand Slam winner prevailed against Alexander Bublik in the first round of the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam and is thus in the round of 16 in the Dutch port city. The Swiss defended himself against his Kazakh opponent 7: 6 (5) and 6: 4 on Monday evening.
In the round of 16, Wawrinka meets Richard Gasquet somewhat surprisingly. The 36-year-old Frenchman defeated Pablo Carreno Busta, who was seventh, after a hard-fought game 2-6, 7-6 (2) and 6-2.
Meanwhile, Grigor Dimitrov had to fight much less. The Bulgarian beat Aslan Karatsev 6-1, 6-3 after just 58 minutes of play. The 2021 Australian Open semi-finalist had prevailed in the last qualifying round against Austrian Jurij Rodionov in two tight sets.
Alexander Zverev will intervene in the tournament on Tuesday. The German Olympic champion does not meet Soonwoo Kwon before 1:00 p.m. After that, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev will also play.
