ATP Rotterdam: Wawrinka is subject to Khachanov, Rublev now against Murray
As at the Australian Open, Stan Wawrinka has now lost in the first round in Rotterdam. The Swiss lost to Karen Khachanov 4: 6 and 5: 7.

Stan Wawrinka does not really get going in the tennis year 2021: After the three-time major champion at the Australian Open was eliminated in round one after a great fight and match points against Marton Fucsovics, Wawrinka now failed at the ATP Tour 500 tournament in Rotterdam right at the beginning. Wawrinka lost to Karen Khachanov after a playing time of 91 minutes 4-6 and 5-7.
Incidentally, Fucsovics already put in another marathon: After qualifying, Hungarian beat Reilly Opelka in the tie-break of the third set. And that after the first two rounds only found their winner in the short decision.
Andrey Rublev had only slight problems in the 7: 6 (1) and 6: 3 with Marcos Giron. The Russian won a meeting with Andy Murray , who was able to prevail on Monday after an exhausting comeback against Robin Haase.
