First to the sport: Lorenzo Musetti, who showed great victories at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament with victories against Stan Wawrinka and Kei Nishikori and then won his first ATP Challenger event in Forli, followed up against his compatriot Andrea Pellegrino almost an hour of playing time with 6: 2 and 6: 1. With exactly the same result, Yannick Hanfmann won against Casper Ruud, who was third. After resuming play in Kitzbühel, Hanfmann reached the final, where he lost to Miomir Kecmanovic. Hanfmann and Musetti will play against each other on Friday.

The only seed left in the main draw is Albert Ramos-Vinolas from Spain, who beat Corentin Moutet 6-0 and 6-3 and plays against Marco Cecchinato in the quarter-finals.

However, the number one of the tournament, Fabio Fognini, was unable to play for his first match. The current Italian number two tested positive for COVID-19 before his opening match and was replaced by Lucky Loser Danilo Petrovic. However, it is piquant that Fognini played a rather long double at Musetti's side on Tuesday. As a result, 20 of the remaining players had to take the test again. These tests are reportedly negative.
