You have to be careful with the "active" categorization these days, but as long as the two Swiss aces Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka are working more or less meticulously on their comebacks, we don't want the hope of further successful performances by the two on the ATP tour to give up. Juan Martin del Potro, on the other hand, actually announced his resignation, but a small back door could still be open. So when it comes to the number of tournament wins by active players, Federer is way ahead. With 103 titles, he is the only tennis professional alongside Jimmy Connors (109) who has even written three digits.
Since Saturday there have been at least 18 other professionals who are currently cavorting on the ATP tour. Andrey Rublev has moved up into this category with his final win against Jiri Vesely. After the Russian had already triumphed in Marseille a week earlier.
The new world number one Daniil Medvedev holds 13 championships, Alexander Zverev has 19. Dominic Thiem, who will celebrate his comeback in Indian Wells in a few days, has held up the winner's trophy on 17 occasions.
Here is the list of active players who have won at least ten titles on the ATP Tour:
