ATP tournament instead of Challenger: Andy Murray with full focus on Montpellier
Andy Murray will return to the top tier of the ATP tour at the 250cc tournament in Montpellier next week. In return, the Scot does not even start at the Challenger "Biella 2".

Due to a corona infection, Andy Murray was not allowed to participate in the Australian Open this year. Therefore, the three-time Grand Slam winner decided to open his season at the Challenger level. Last week the 33-year-old even reached the final in Biella, Italy, but had to admit defeat to Illya Marchenko.
This week the former world number one should have served again in Biella. Since Murray received a wildcard from the organizers of the ATP 250 tournament in Montpellier, the world rankings 125 waived. but now on his second appearance in the small Italian town. Instead, the Scot made his way to France to prepare for the event on the French Mediterranean coast.
Because the competition in Montpellier is tough: with Roberto Bautista Agut and David Goffin, two top 20 players will start, and youngster Jannik Sinner will also serve at this ATP 250 tournament.
