ATP Washington: Dominik Koepfer fights in round two

The world number 145, who entered the main draw as a qualifier, defeated the South Korean Kwon Soon Woo (ATP 77) after 2:21 hours 3: 6, 6: 3, 6: 4. Koepfer, who was 4-1 down in the deciding set, will face number seven seed Karen Khachanov in the second round.
The 28-year-old slipped in the ATP ranking after a long injury break and is fighting for momentum again. Last year he was still in 50th place - his career high.
