On June 11th, Rafael Nadal was on the court for the last time in an official match at the French Open, but on Wednesday the top seeded Spaniard celebrates his comeback in Washington - and meets in the first match since the semi-final defeat against Novak Djokovic the winner of the first round match between Jack Sock and Yoshihito Nishioka.

After that, Nadal, who is already in the US capital, could face Lloyd Harris. According to the program, Cameron Norrie is the first big touchstone. The Brit last won the ATP 250 tournament in Los Cabos and is playing the best season of his career. Possible semi-final opponents for Nadal include Grigor Dimitrov and Dan Evans.

Defending champion Nick Kyrgios is also a potential opponent in the semifinals. The Australian will play his first game against Mackenzie McDonald and would then play against Benoit Paire.

The lower half is led by Felix Auger-Aliassime. The Canadian opens against a qualifier or Andreas Seppi and is likely to face local hero Frances Tiafoe in the third round. In the semifinals he could meet Jannik Sinner and Alex de Minaur.
