Hubert Hurkacz once again made it into the top 10 in the world rankings

Hubert Hurkacz and Matteo Berrettini probably made the best of it: Both players are badly affected by the deletion of points for the third Grand Slam tournament of the year in Wimbledon, but they didn't miss an opportunity in the run-up to the grass classic to score a lot of points collect for the ATP world rankings.

After his success at the ATP 500 event in HalleWestfalen, the Pole went up two places and was back in the top ten of the ATP charts. After successfully defending his title in the Queen's Club, Matteo Berrettini remained in eleventh place. After an injury break of around three months, the Italian was able to win both tournaments on his return.

Medvedev remains number one

However, there are no changes to report at the top of the ranking: Daniil Medvedev continues to lead the world rankings, followed by Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic. Rafael Nadal and Casper Ruud complete the top 5. Behind them are Stefanos Tsitsipas, Carlos Alcaraz, Andrey Rublev and Felix Auger-Aliassime in eighth and ninth place.

There are big jumps in the second row, for example for Queen's Club finalist Filip Krajinovic, who made up 17 places and is now ranked 31st in the world. The German Oscar Otte also made it into the top 40, who was able to make up 14 places by reaching the semi-finals in HalleWestfalen and is now in 37th place with a new career best.

Thiem just under the top 350

Nick Kyrgios was also able to improve his performances at the German grass classic, the Australian made up 20 places and is now in 45th place. And will start the race unseeded in Wimbledon. Two more career highs in the top 50: Botic van de Zandschulp in 26th place and Ilya Ivashka in 40th place. Roger Federer is still just inside the top 100, but he is threatened with a huge crash after Wimbledon. The Swiss will be without a ranking in a few days.

Dominic Thiem, however, was able to make up nine places in the past week without intervening in the game. At number 343, the Austrian is again just within the top 350. The best Austrian is still Jurij Rodionov, who ranks 152 on the ATP charts. Closely followed by Dennis Novak (ATP-155th).
