Pablo Carreno Busta is currently in eleventh place in the world rankings

After his three Grand Slam triumphs this year, Novak Djokovic continues to lead the world rankings clearly ahead of Daniil Medvedev. Behind them are Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek could have overtaken the Spaniard with a tournament victory in Hamburg, but failed in the quarter-finals to Filip Krajinovic.

There is a curiosity in ranks five and six: Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem both have 7,340 points in their accounts, due to the higher number of points that the German collected in the Grand Slams, the ATP Masters 1000 tournaments and the ATP Finals , however, he is ahead of the Austrian. The top ten are completed by Andrey Rublev, Matteo Berretini, Roger Federer and Denis Shapovalov.

Coria with a new career high

Hamburg winner Pablo Carreno Busta improved two positions to eleventh thanks to his victory in the Hanseatic city. Casper Ruud also jumped two places up (14th) thanks to his success in Bastad. Final opponent Federico Coria can look forward to a new personal record with rank 62.

Also in the Race to Turin not too much happened in the past week: Djokovic, who has already secured his ticket for the end of the year for the eight best players, is still leading ahead of Tsitsipas and Berrettini. In addition, Rublev, Zverev, Medvedev, Nadal and Hubert Hurkacz should also serve in Italy.
