ATP world rankings: Novak Djokovic winters as the undisputed number one

At the end of the season there was once again no way around Novak Djokovic : With his triumph at the ATP Finals, the 24-time Grand Slam winner further expanded his lead in the rankings and can celebrate another milestone. The Serb is entering his 400th week as number one in the world rankings this Monday.

Djokovic is now 2,570 points ahead of his first rival Carlos Alcaraz in the rankings and will therefore overwinter as the undisputed industry leader. The podium is completed by Daniil Medvedev.

Zverev ends his comeback season in seventh place

Jannik Sinner, who reached the final in Turin after an impressive run of success, ended the year in fourth place in the world rankings, ahead of Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Alexander Zverev ends his comeback season in a strong seventh place, followed by Becker's protégé Holger Rune. Hubert Hurkacz and Taylor Fritz round out the top ten.

The best Austrian in the latest ATP ranking is Sebastian Ofner in position 43. Dominic Thiem, who is ranked 97th in the world. who still has to worry about his main field place at the Australian Open , is a few places ahead of the red-white-red number three, Jurij Rodionov (110th).

In the end, Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek narrowly won the thrilling battle for number one in doubles . The two relegated Rohann Bopanna/Matthew Ebden and the Turin champions Rajeev Ram/Joe Salisbury to their places.
