Australian Open: Novak Djokovic has to stretch against Tiafoe

Defending champion Novak Djokovic is in the third round of the Australian Open 2021 - but had to work harder than expected against Frances Tiafoe.

Djokovic won 6: 3, 6: 7 (3), 7: 6 (2) and 6: 3 against the world number 64, who kept up surprisingly well and made life difficult for Djoker over longer distances. /

Djokovic got off to a good start with a quick break, set 1 went confidently to the world number one. But Tiafoe then got Djokovic into trouble with variable play and won the second round.
