Kyrgios had actually registered for the coming week in Switzerland and was then supposed to play at the Masters tournament in Paris. But now it seems that the end of the season will be similar to that of the past few years, without Paris. Kyrgios has never played the Masters tournament here before. /

Is Kyrgios injured or, as is so often the case, taking a longer home leave? Unknown. But that wouldn't be anything new, Kyrgios is considered to be extremely attached to his homeland and has been on the road a lot this year. With success - the Wimbledon final says hello.

Most recently, Kyrgios had played in Tokyo, but pulled out there before the quarter-finals against Taylor Fritz due to injury, the knee had caused problems again.

However, the 27-year-old does not seem to be in a good mood, rather he is currently enjoying the nightlife, as can be seen on his Instagram page.

Nick Kyrgios: Will he start in doubles in Turin?

Kyrgios is also missing out on a possible qualification for the ATP Finals individually, although the chances would have been slim. As number 20 in the Race to Turin, he is currently more than 1,000 points behind 7th place (Novak Djokovic has already secured his participation as number 10 due to his Wimbledon title).

But: Kyrgios is actually qualified for Turin in doubles alongside Thanasi Kokkinakis and had also confirmed in the summer that he wanted to play in Turin with his buddy. Will it come to that? Remains to be seen.

However, the 2022 season was also an extremely successful one for Kyrgios, who was temporarily outside the top 100. In addition to entering his first major final (at Wimbledon), he won the title in Washington and also made it to the last eight in New York.
