Kim Clijsters wants to know again, also in 2021. The four-time Grand Slam tournament winner will serve at the tournaments in Miami (March 23 to April 3) and Charleston (April 5 to 11) and thus continue her comeback.

The 37-year-old returned to the tour in early 2020, it was her second comeback, having resigned in 2007 and returned in 2009. In 2012 she stopped again.

In their appearances last year, Clijsters could not record a win, but lost to strong opponents in Dubai (against Garbine Muguruza), in Monterrey (against Johanna Konta) and at the US Open (against Ekaterina Alexandrova) and was competitive in all three matches.

After the end at the US Open, Clijsters had remained covered about how things would go on for her, also due to the corona situation and travel restrictions, as she actually wanted to travel with family (husband Brian Lynch and three kids).

In the course of her career, Clijsters celebrated victories at the US Open (2005, 2009, 2010) and Australian Open (2011) and led the WTA world rankings for 20 weeks.
