WTA: Sloane Stephens wins in Rouen
Sloane Stephens (WTA No. 39) won the WTA 250 tournament in Rouen, France.

The American won the final against Magda Linette from Poland 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 to win her ninth title on the tour. She last won in Guadalajara in 2022.
The 2017 US Open winner and former world number 3 had beaten Karolina Pliskova and Caroline Garcia, among others, on her way to the title.
Top seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova was eliminated in round 2, while Naomi Osaka lost in round 1.
