For the diplomatic corps, Daniel Evans is out of the question - the Brit tends to make clear announcements. This also applies to the Netflix series “Break Point”, which will be launched on Netflix on January 13, 2023. The odds that Dan Evans will be in the audience are slim. "It's all so predictable," Evans is quoted as saying in The Times. And besides, there can be no talk of spontaneity and unadulterated reality: "It's all acted out, you can see that."

As is well known, the model for “Break Point” is the Netflix production “Drive to Survive”, which opened up a completely new, younger fan target group for Formula 1. It remains to be seen whether all the protagonists in the premier class of motorsport behave without a camera as they are actually shown. But the entertainment value is undisputed.

Tsitsipas and the inevitable tennis dad

Dan Evans can curb his lack of anticipation for "Break Point" without any major problems. "It's so predictable. We want to hear what Rafa had to say when forced to withdraw from Wimbledon. But we have to listen to Tsitsipas and a tennis dad. there always has to be a tennis dad, right? That's not for me."

"Break Point" accompanied several players like Nick Kyrgios or Iga Swaitek on and off the court in the 2022 season. Five episodes are scheduled to be released in January 2023, with another five in June.
